The publication contains materials on the methodology of elementary swimming training of children, presents children outdoor games on the water. An in-depth study of the elements of various technologies of sport swimming, starts and turns is also presented. Special attention is paid to safety precautions when visiting natural reservoirs, rescuing and transporting drowning people to the shore. The ways of transporting drowning people and rescue equipment are clearly presented. In the annexes there are samples of outline plans for a swimming lesson when learning various ways of sport swimming.
