The monograph is devoted to current theoretical and applied issues of legal protection of subsoil. The cumulative consideration of the legal norms ensuring subsoil protection, enshrined in the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, represents a comprehensive scientific study of legal protection of subsoil as an integrated legal institution in the environmental law of the Republic of Belarus. In the study the author relies on the works of Belarusian and foreign scientists and develops an idea of theoretical understanding of the specifics of legal protection of subsoil, the content of the legal mechanism for subsoil protection and ensuring compliance with the requirements of legislation on subsoil protection.
The formulated theoretical provisions and scientific conclusions aimed at developing scientific knowledge about the legal nature, essence and features of legal protection of subsoil can serve as the basis for further scientific research and improvement of the legislation in this area.
The publication is addressed to students, undergraduates, graduate students and teachers of higher education institutions, legal scholars, law enforcement officials, as well as all those who are interested in issues of environmental protection in general and legal protection of subsoil in particular.
