The teaching guide is worked out in accordance with the requirements for “Choral conducting” and takes into account different levels of students’ awareness. It presents a wide range of original musical compositions and arrangements of Russian and foreign classics, as well as of Soviet and Belarusian contemporary authors. The music material is classified according to course and technical requirements. The suggested repertoire is expected to master performance style features of works within various periods and enlarge the scope. Part 2 contains compositions which correspond to the second-year course requirements, information about the composers, a brief description of their works, composition guidelines and a glossary of musical terms.
The publication is addressed to university teachers and students who specialize in music and choral training.
