The publication is intended for 1st-year foreign students studying at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, specialty 1-21 05 06 “Romano-Germanic Philology”. It is aimed at assimilating basic rules of formation and use of the temporal forms of the verb, as well as developing steady skills of correct use of the studied grammatical phenomena in oral and written speech in accordance with the communicative situation. The material of each grammar section correlates with the subject-thematic blocks of the lexical section of the English curriculum. The suggested materials are also intended for first year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages who study English for the first year.
