The course of lectures is compiled in accordance with the Country Studies curriculum and is intended for 3rd year students of the Teacher Training College. The purpose of the course is to expand students background, as well as to form their country studies orientation.
The course consists of 11 lectures, which provide information about the UK in English — its history, geography, education and culture. Each lecture contains theoretical material, as well as practical tasks designed to control reading comprehension and consolidate the material.
