Signing of the Agreement on Opening the Confucius Institute at Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University

On September 10 an online ceremony of signing the Agreement on the opening of the Confucius Institute with Heihe University (China) at Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University was held.

During the ceremony, the heads of two educational institutions emphasized that since 2019 the universities have been carrying out joint work to complete all necessary documents to make the opening of the Confucius Institute possible.

Rector of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University Denis Duk noted that the development of bilateral interaction with higher education institutions of the People's Republic of China is a strategic direction of international cooperation of the university, so the opening of the Confucius Institute at Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University will be a significant contribution to the development of Belarusian-Chinese partnership.

The activities of the Confucius Institute will be aimed at the development of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in education, science, culture and will meet the needs of the eastern region of the Republic of Belarus in the study of Chinese language and culture, which will have a favorable impact on the improvement of the image and recognition of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University in the People's Republic of China.
