On December 16, 2022, as part of the development of international cooperation with the State Social and Humanitarian University (Kolomna), on the basis of the Faculty of History and Philology, a round table “Tourist routes: Mogilev-Kolomna” was held.
The event was moderated by Alexander Nikandrov, Head of the Department of National and General History and Municipal Administration of the State Social and Humanitarian University, Elena Golovach, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History and Philosophy, and Alesya Melnikova, Associate Professor of the Department of History and Philosophy.
The event was attended by students of 2nd and 3rd courses of the Faculty of History and Philology, as well as students of 1st-3rd courses of Kolomna University. Natalya Makovskaya, Vice-Rector for Research at Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University, and Lilia Soza, Dean of the Faculty of History, Management and Service of the State Social and Humanitarian University, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech.
5 projects were presented: 2 videos “Kolomna — a Small History of a Big City”, “Mogilev — a History Through the Ages”, 2 presentations “Tourist Potential of Kolomna”, “The Imperial Route of Kolomna”, a report-presentation “The Headquarters of the Supreme Commander in Mogilev in 1915–1917”.
At the end of the event, an agreement was reached to continue cooperation between Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University and the State Social and Humanitarian University, and a plan for holding joint events for the 2022/2023 academic year was determined.
