The Department for the Implementation of programs for pre-university education and career guidance of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining continues to work with foreign citizens who are mastering the educational program of training courses “Russian as a Foreign Language”. The group, which will be replenished in the near future with new students, trains citizens of ten countries: Ghana, Guinea, Djibouti, Cameroon, Nigeria, Rwanda, Togo, Eritrea, Ethiopia and China.
Another educational program “The Russian Language: Intensive Course” is being prepared for launch for citizens of Uzbekistan, students of the Faculty of History and Philology.
Classes are held in modern and well-equipped classrooms of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining: a room for studying Russian as a foreign language and a room for intercultural communication. This allows not only to organize the educational process at a high level, but also to make the most efficient use of the educational resources of the Internet, conduct online events, and implement various projects remotely.
The main content of the educational program “Russian as a foreign language” is the intensive study of the language, so the training sessions are held in a special creative atmosphere. Foreign students also participate actively in various events, including the traditional “Winter” and “Summer” schools of the Russian language, which combine language practice and familiarization with the history and culture of Mogilev and Belarus.
