From 3 to 8 December, Marina Chmarova, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Literature and Intercultural Communication was invited for an internship at the University of Pardubice (Czech Republic) in the framework of the project on the internationalization of universities and ERASMUS+ program. Czech colleagues showed interest in the state of research in the field of bohemistry in the Republic of Belarus, and also appreciated the efforts of our colleagues in promoting the Czech language and culture at the Mogilev State University named after A. Kuleshov and in the city of Mogilev. The internship program was very rich and diverse. Associate Professor Marina Chmarova gave a lecture to Czech students, during which she spoke about the history of Belarusian-Czech cultural and literary connections, commonality and differences of Belarusian and Czech mentality, culture and language. In addition to her own lecture activity, associate professor Marina Chmarova was given the opportunity to attend training classes of a Slavic profile. Together with the coordinator of the project on the internationalization of the University of Pardubice, Dr. Jan Čapek, associate professor Marina Chmarova took part in a cultural event in the House of Prague-based German-speaking writers. In the course of communication with Czech colleagues, an exchange of experience and views on the methods of modern teaching and the development of higher schools in Belarus and the Czech Republic took place. The administration of the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Pardubice expressed interest in the further development of research in the field of bohemistry in our university.
