Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Elena Ivanovna Snopkova took part in the V Congress of Teachers and Educators of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The event was held on October 11–12 in the city of Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic). The Congress was attended by delegations from 7 countries, including the Republic of Belarus. The teachers discussed the possibilities for creating a common educational space for the Commonwealth. In particular, it was about providing an inclusive and quality education for all, as well as promoting lifelong learning, commented Elena Snopkova.
The participants of the Congress identified effective directions for the development of higher and vocational education, discussed the vectors for updating the content of education, etc. The high status of the Congress was underlined by the welcoming speech of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbekov Sooronbay Sharipovich. In total, over 150 scientific reports were voiced during the plenary and breakout sessions. Elena Snopkova spoke in the “eighth” section with a report on the topic “Methodological culture of the future teacher in the context of the modern concept of the pedagogical profession”.
