A team of students of the Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University received certificates and a special award (“VMP Jessup Spirit Award”) of the competition “JESSUP MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2019 Belarusian National Rounds”, which took place from January 24–27 at the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University (Minsk). JESSUP is an international competition in the form of a gaming litigation where students act as legal advisers, presenting oral and written positions of their clients (states) in the International Court of Justice. Competitions are held only in English. The scope of the 2019 tasks is the protection of the rights of indigenous peoples, their traditional knowledge. Dmitry Vasilyev, Victoria Davtyan, Alina Kozyleva, Yana Luzikova and Vladislav Nikitin, students of the faculty of economics and law of the specialty “Jurisprudence”, presented the Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University (team leader is Svetlana Khovratova, senior lecturer of the Department of Civil and Economic Law).
