The International Scientific and Practical Webinar “Traditions and Innovations in the Training of the Primary School Teacher” was organized on February 22 at the Faculty of Elementary and Musical Education of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University. Scientists, post-graduate students, undergraduates of our university, Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky, Donetsk Pedagogical Institute took part in the webinar's work. The webinar was opened by S. P. Chumakova, head of the Chair of Primary and Musical Education of Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University. The welcoming speech was also given by A. Ivanov, the dean of the faculty of primary and musical education, A. Khodyrev, the pro-rector for scientific work of YSPU named after K. D. Ushinsky. The participants of the webinar exchanged experience in solving urgent problems of primary education and training of primary school teachers in universities.
The lecturers of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University and YSPU named after K. D. Ushinsky made presentations at lectures. In particular, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor E. V. Karpova (YSPU named after K. D. Ushinsky) read the report on the topic “Features of the development of junior schoolchildren in modern social and cultural conditions”. Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor S. P. Chumakova (MSKU) made a report "Scientific and methodological support for the preparation of a primary school teacher". Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor A. V. Nevzorova (YSPU named after K. D. Ushinsky) sounded a report on the topic “Resources of activities in the formation of universal educational activities”. Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor V. V. Nikolaeva (MSKU) spoke about the educational and methodological complex on mathematics for grades 1–4. Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor O. Yu. Kamakina (YSPU named after K. D. Ushinsky) reported on the management of innovations in primary education. Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor G. S. Poddubskaya (MSKU) informed the audience about the peculiarities of the formation of the didactic culture of the future primary school teacher.
