In the period from December 28 to January 4, the senior lecturer of the Department of Political Science and Sociology Vladimir Stavsky, 3rd-year student of the specialty “Sociology” K. Neiman, Master of BSU (our graduate of 2017) A. Belsky took part in the International Workshop “Social Inequalities and Demographic Change”, which was organized by the International Society “Sonenberg” (St. Andreasberg, Germany). Representatives of Germany, Great Britain, Georgia, Denmark, the Czech Republic, etc. took part in the seminar. Scientists discussed the problems of social inequality and proposed projects of “fair society”. The seminar participants visited the Nursing Home, the social service of the Protestant Church in Bad Harzburg, where they got acquainted with the work of the House of Generations. V. Stavsky made a report in German “The Problems of Social Injustice in Modern Society”. A. Belsky and K. Neiman actively participated in the discussion of the problems of social justice in the sphere of modern education.
